Iba Mahr Reggae New Sensation

Iba Mahr was born Mario Greaves in Cheesefield, a district in Linstead, St Catherine Jamaica where he attended Charlemont and Dintill High School.He then attended the University Of Technology where he pursued a degree in Computing and Computer Technology. He had financial difficulties hat caused him to leave while in the third year of the programme.His Reggae influence came after listening to Peter Tosh and Burning Spear whom he said always had something positive to say.Iba Mahr got recognition after recording the track Where You Are in 2008 for the late Phillip Fattis Burrell of Xterminator Records.Last year was his break out year as he released several singles which was blazing the air waves in Jamaica and the Caribbean and Europe .Songs such as Born Free , Sound A Alarm and  Chart Topping Will I Wait which dominated various reggae charts worldwide These songs were produced by Born Rolling Productions,which is steered by the Duo Roland McDermott and Jermaine Edwards which are heading in the right direction with these conscious music.He ended the year on a high with a stunning performance at GT Taylor show in St. Elizabeth and a great performance at Sting 2011. Iba Mahr had a positive start to 2012 as he gave a fiery performance at Rebel Salute within a shorten set by the promoters to accommodate all artiste to perform within a specific time.So i can say that Ibar Mar is definately an artiste to look out for this year and beyond to carry the Reggae flag high across the world.
