Christopher Martin Shines at Sumfest 2012

When Christopher Martin entered the Reggae Sumfest stage in the morning , it was quite clear that he is one of the biggest artiste in Reggae music at this present time . The venues atmosphere was transformed into a high energy choir, as the ladies screamed and men put up lighters and whistled .Dressed in a dapper looking red and grey suit the singer had the ladies eating out of his palms as he belted out songs such as Take My Wings', ‘Paper Loving’, and ‘Cheater’s Prayer’The men whistled and lit lighters especially for "Real Friends" and "Chill Spot "The international Reggae singer , in Jamaican terms" mash up the show" as each of his songs were well received by the audience . The singer had the venue  temperature increased with renditions of John Holt's ‘If I Were a Carpenter’ and Marvin Gaye's ‘Sexual Healing’." Ladies were seeing crying in the front row as they sang along to Chris songs word for word. 
The Singer shifted gear a bit when he touch on the issue of child molestation as he said, "Recently I read the most disturbing news where children and babies as young as 18 months were raped in Jamaica and I cried." He then sang won of his new song " Killer Inside"  with lyrics saying " I am a father and if a man ever touch mi daughter..."  The song had the place in a frenzy , he then left shortly ,but the crowd demanded his return.  
Dancehallwave can confidently say that Christopher Martin is one of the top performers over the three day event.
