Tommy Lee live up to the high expectation on Dancehall night at Reggae Sumfest ,performing for the first time as a booked Artiste ,  as last year he was called on stage by Vbyz Kartel.He entered the stage dressed in full black, wearing  his psycho mask, singing  “Gaza man crazy, no wi insane,” that got the crowd in a frenzy .Tommy Lee got the Biggest forwards for the night as he delivered his hits and new songs.Songs like Some Bwoy , Warn Dem, Psycho and Tom and Jerry are just a few of his many songs that got huge forwards .Tommy Lee showed repect to his mentor Vybz Kartel when he displayed his just released book "Voice of the Jamaican Ghetto"on stage. Tommy Lee really pleased the Gaza fans and give them hope that the crew is still very much alive and hot as Vybz Kartel is still locked up behind bars. Dancehallwave is prepared to say that Tommy Lee took Reggae Sumfest Dancehall night 2012.

The Police have not suspected any foul play as he was sick for some time.

Fatal Shooting at Mavado Show video footage

New Jersey authorities have released a video clip capturing the moments leading up to a fatal shooting in a Newark club last month during a performance by the Jamaican reggae star Mavado (real name David Brooks). The Essex Couunty Prosecutor’s office is seeking eyewitness assistance in capturing the gunman, who has yet to be identified.
The minute-and-a-half clip shows Mavado on stage at the Palladium, interacting with the crowd, many of whom were filming the show with their phones. Suddenly two gunshots ring out and the image is distorted as the cameraman drops for cover. The video does not show the actual shooting but people are screaming in the background and it sounds like pure chaos.
Two persons were shot in the May 12 incident which was precipitated by an altercation. They were a security guard who was shot in the arm and Andre Henry, 35, of Irvington who died at the University Hospital in Newark.
Mavado was interviewed by the prosecutor’s office and is not considered a suspect. According to a local news source, many persons at the show left before police could interview them.

Reggae and Dancehall Superstar Moses Davis better known as Beenie man recently got his United States work permit reinstated three years after it was revoked.This came shortly after Beenie man recently released a video saying that he apologized for his earlier homophobic songs and comments.Beenie man said on a stage that,"it takes a Big man to apologize" and Beenie man did exactly that, who can tell maybe it helped in , him getting back his work permit.He will be performing at the first ever Groovin’ In The Park concert on July 1 at Roy Wilkins Park in the New York based borough of Queens.So all you fans who have missed Beenie man" the Doctor" can finally get to see him in the Big Apple.
