Sean Paul’s Tomahawk Technique and She Doesn’t Mind #1 in Japan

Kingston, Jamaica: International Superstar Sean Paul’s fifth AlbumTomahawk Technique has hit the No. 1 mark on the Japan domestics ITunes Chart and No. 6 on the overall domestic and international combined charts just a day after its release. The album was released on Monday, January 30 by Atlantic Records in parts of Asia and Europe, as well as South Africa and Mexico.
She Doesn’t Minda single on the chart topping album, also copped several number one spots in Japan. The single topped the iTunes Pop genre charts at number 1, registering a number 15 on the iTunes domestic and international combined singles chart.
Continuing on this impressive run, the single also copped number 1 spot on Mora International Chart and Reggae ZION Ringtone daily raking. Reco-choku (Japan’s No.1 mobile DSP) registered She Doesn’t Mind at No.1 for two consecutive days on international single daily chart and No.8 on ringtone chart. Also holding top spots on Music.jp the single registered No.2 placement on the international daily single chart and No.3 on the international ringtone daily chart!
Benny Blanco, one of pop music’s sought after producers and Swedish producer Shellback co-produced She Doesn’t Mind.
There has been much anticipation about the release of the 12-track set,Tomahawk Technique which is the Grammy-winning deejay’s fifth album and the follow-up to 2009’s Imperial Blaze which was also distributed by Atlantic.

Whitney Houston Dead

Whitney Houston, who reigned as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, has died. She was 48.
 Publicist Kristen Foster said Saturday that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death were unknown. This a report from The Associated Press.

Elephant Man speaks about Rape charge

 International Dancehall star Elepant man whose real name is Oniel Bryan was arrested on January 30 and charged with grievous sexual assault and rape. The police said the charges stem from an incident at Elephant man St. Andrew home earlier this month. Investigators said a woman filed a police report claiming that the artiste sexually assaulted her.Following investigation Elephant man was taken into custody and then release on a $400,000 bail shortly.He is schedule to appear for a May 21 preliminary hearing where he'll answer the two charges.
